As we declare on the packaging, Kronfågel's frozen, natural products contain a 13 percent brine. Our taste tests show that the frozen chicken tastes better with a brine, the meat becomes more tender and juicier. The best way to thaw the chicken is in the refrigerator for about a day.
The chicken is tenderized with this 13% brine and some of that liquid can be released, plus the chicken can release liquid completely naturally, just like all meat.
