Machine sliding on countertop
Hello! I just purchased my machine & last night made my 1st batch of rolls. I noticed the machine sliding on my stone countertop when moving the arm. It stayed put when mixing the dough but anytime I tried to move the arm, the machine slid. I cleaned the feet with a damp paper towel but it still slides. Any ideas for me? I don't have another surface to work on in my kitchen. Would buying a rubber mat to place under the mixer help?

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Ankarsrum family!
It’s not uncommon for the machine to slide slightly on smoother surfaces like stone countertops, especially when you're adjusting the arm manually and there's no counterforce from mixing.
You've already done the right thing by cleaning the rubber feet – sometimes a little flour or grease can reduce grip. Placing a rubber or silicone mat underneath the machine is actually a great idea and often solves the issue entirely. Look for one that’s non-slip and heat-resistant to ensure good stability and durability.
Let us know if the problem persists after trying that – we're happy to help further if needed!
