Why isn't there a 1500 watt version for the American market? I would prefer the higher power unit. You can talk gear ratios all you want, but high electrical power and torque are better than gearing that can wear out. I have worn out the gears on a couple of KitchenAids.

  • The 1500W unit is only available in Europe due their voltage requirements. Both the US and the EU models are designed exactly the same. I have personally used the EU unit while at a trade show and high speed is exactly the same. The US model is just as powerful and you’ll be very happy with it.
