Tension knob is so tight

The tension knob on my mixer is so hard to turn and I can barely move it!! Is something wrong with it??

  • Hi Hannah.  No, I don't think anything is wrong with your mixer.  To release the tension that is causing the knob to be so tight, pull the arm toward the center of the mixing bowl and then turn the knob.  It should be much easier to turn now.
