  • Hi Rachel,

    not at all preferably. The arm will sway towards the center of the bowl if it's too close to the bowl. As a rule of thumb I recommend setting the arm an inch or two away from the bowl edge, but if that still means the arm is swinging a bit too much, I'll adjust it even more.
